As floodwaters recede, Jakarta residents use well pumps to get water for bathing, laundry, and dishes. In early February, torrential rains caused the worst flooding in over a decade in the Indonesian capital, as floodwaters reached four meters in some areas and left only the tops of roofs visible above the surface. The flooding killed over 50 people and displaced more than 300,000. Jakarta, Indonesia. Image: Danzer_030216. To discuss use of this photo, please contact Erick at erick@erickdanzer.com.
